Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns toasted
  • Cheese slices optional
  • Lettuce tomato, onion, and other toppings of choice
  • Condiments ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, etc.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare - Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  • Season - Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of each patty.
  • Heat - Preheat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook - Place patties in skillet, cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium doneness.
  • Melt - Add cheese slices on top of patties, cover, and let melt (optional).
  • Assemble - Place cooked patties on toasted buns, add toppings and condiments of choice.
  • Serve - Enjoy immediately with your favorite sides.
